Good In Deed was in the process of moving headquarters and that made hosting our own drive difficult. However, Good In Deed didn’t want to let something like a move get in the way of doing some good in the world. Instead of hosting our own drive we decided to help out another local drive hosted by Saddleback Church Rancho Capistrano. The church hosted a shoe drive and the results are in!
The results of the shoe drive hosted by Saddleback Church Rancho Capistrano and supported by Good In Deed are in and they’re amazing.
Saddleback Church Rancho Capistrano
The shoe drive hosted by Saddleback Church Rancho Capistrano was aimed at helping school children. The goal was to collect as many pairs of shoes as possible in sizes 10-13 and 1-6. We asked that Good In Deed get involved by donating to the shoe drive new or gently used shoes. As always, the Good In Deed community showed up in droves and the results were amazing.
The Good In Deed Move
Good In Deed is a growing community of people who are just looking to do their part in any way possible. The sizes of the deeds don’t matter, just as long as you do something to make a difference. Even just saying hi to a stranger could make a difference. While Good In Deed is growing, changes are happening behind the scenes as well. Things like getting recognized by the government as a charitable organization and even moving into a new headquarters. While we were hard at work getting the new headquarters up and running, good deeds didn’t need to rest. This is why we decided to lend a helping hand to Saddleback Church Rancho Capistrano.
The Shoe Drive Results
The Good In Deed community was asked to help Saddleback Church Rancho Capistrano with their shoe drive for school aged children. And the results were amazing. Together, alongside the church members and local communities, we gathered 650 shoes! Each pair of shoes has been given away to children and families who needed them most. Thank you again for the great work Good In Deed and we look forward to the next drive.
