The Ladera Ranch Library is part of the Orange County Library family. As part of that family, the Ladera Ranch Library’s books can be sent over to any library within the Orange County Library group if needed. Due to this “sharing is caring” mentality, we wanted to host our book drive this year for the Ladera Ranch Library. The results are in for the Ladera Ranch Library book drive and those results are amazing.
The Good In Deed Ladera Ranch Library Book Drive has come to a close and the results of that drive show the power of our community.
The Ladera Ranch Library Book Drive
From September until the end of October, Good In Deed hosted a book drive. This book drive is an annual event at Good In Deed. Libraries are run with government funding and that means funds can get low real fast. That’s when it’s time for the community to step in and help. The Ladera Ranch Library is no different, and being part of the Orange County library system makes it even more important. Since books can be traded and sent all around Orange County, that means donations to Ladera Ranch Library go towards all of Orange County.
The Ladera Ranch Library Book Drive Results
It’s true, 2,893 books in total were donated to Ladera Ranch Library thanks to the Good In Deed community. These books will help the Orange County Library system stay up to date with new books, provide more books to more people, and just overall help the community to read and learn. This book drive was slightly different from most drives Good In Deed has done. In the past, Good In Deed had one drop off location. People from all over were invited to drop off locations at that location and could email for pickups.
For this drive, Good In Deed asked for help from members of the Good In Deed community. The entire community was asked for volunteers who would host a drop off location for donations. This was done in hopes that more people would have the opportunity to donate. Overall, the test was a success and Good In Deed owes a huge thank you to some people who hosted drop off locations on behalf of Good In Deed.

I want to personally thank everyone who helped Good In Deed in during this drive. All of your hard work really paid off and we have been able to donate more books than we had any other year in the past. These Do-Good Ambassadors lent Good In Deed their homes and/or businesses as drop off locations:
